Faculty of Business Administration - the official name from November 10, 2016 according to Decision No. 928/QD-ĐHTM of the Rector of the University of Commerce (Faculty of Economics and Commerce and the Faculty of Business Administration before) was approved. was established in 1960. The Faculty has had a process of establishment and development in parallel with the process of formation, improvement and development in all aspects of the University of Commerce.

With many achievements in the development process, the Faculty of Business Administration has many times honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training. In particular, in 2000, the Faculty was honored to receive the Third-class Labor Medal from the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Experiencing the development process with changes in organizational structure and personnel, from the 2010-2011 school year, the Faculty of Business Administration was assigned by the school to manage and train 2 majors in business administration: Commercial Management and General Business Administration. Along with the process of renovating the training program to meet the needs of society, from the regular university admissions program in 2016 (K52), the Faculty was assigned to manage a general major, a major in business administration (belonging to the major of business administration). business administration).
